How to check whether the IP address is blocked in server firewall – WHM/cPanel server with CSF

We have already discussed about the way to check the blacklist in CSF via command line. In a WHM/cPanel server we have an option to check the IP blacklist via WHM control panel. You can refer this link to find out the IP blacklist via comman-line.

We can manage the config server firewall simply from the WHM control panel. You can follow these steps to check the IP blacklist via WHM.

Step I : Login to WHM server.
Step II : Go to;

Home >> Plugins >> ConfigServer Security & Firewall

Step III : Scroll down and enter the IP address into the “Search iptables for IP address” box and click “Search for IP”

Sample output with IP address 8.8.8.8;

2

That’s it 🙂
