How to set the ‘Default Required Password Strength’ for cpanel accounts – WHM

It is a security related feature in WHM/cPanel based server to set the password to a stronger one. There is an option in your WHM panel to set the ‘Default Required Password Strength‘ for cpanel accounts.

How to set the ‘Default Required Password Strength’ ?
Step 1 : Login to your WHM account.
Step 2 : Then search the option ‘Password Strength Configuration‘ or go to;

Home >> Security Center >> Password Strength Configuration

There is a lot of options such as Account Creation (New System/cPanel Accounts), Bandmin Access, MySQL Users etc. You can set the values to your own.

Step 3 : Click on the “save” button to save the changes.

That’s it.
